Daddy Run or Dial Champak or just Die Laughing
WHETHER YOU are a King or Pauper a few drops of rain will fall on you during the rainy season. You may be in an A/c Office but the rain chases you when you hit for home. Living in a Champak Estates house, your Car Drives into the Covered zone. You return safely into your wife’s arms cuddled like a baby. “O how choweet you are” says she. Well buddy, thank Champak, (A) for Keeping you warm (B) for Keeping you in Good Books of your wife (C) Protecting you School – Going Children. Champak Is a friend of your entire family (Strictly excluding your jeans – Clad, Navel Exposing, Low necked plumpy Office Seceretary). “Daddy Mummy’s after you with her usual Chappathi roller. She as read you mind. Run Daddy run”. Dial Champak 64565374/9884417574.

Jakes' Cake
In which Jake learnt that most valuable of lessons in life...
you can't have your cake and eat it too!

DYK: This idiom was first recorded in the English language in 1546 as "wolde you bothe eate your cake, and have your cake?" (John Heywood's 'A dialogue Conteinyng the Nomber in Effect of All the Prouerbes in the Englishe Tongue') alluding to the impossibility of eating your cake and still having it afterwards; the modern version being a corruption, first signalled in 1812.

Calling all Bikes!
Fellow Bikes of America,
It is time for the All-America-Asalasaw! Let us put our heads and our bottles of Old Monk together for a grand gala celebration of Bike-dom / Bikangery / Bike-ness.
I would like to propose an All-America-Asalasaw to welcome new candidates such as Jake and Ling to the US of A. Let's give it a bang in the industry...
I think middle of August to the end of August is an appropriate time-frame. Think up locations, bikes!
If mid-west is a scene, I can host. If DC area is a scene, I'm in. If the Dees even exist, I'll be thrilled.
Speaking of incentives, asalasaw and Old Monk, I have one bottle and access to a rather large supply... Speak up, speak out and drink up! Where will it be?

Prince Harry has joined the Gurkhas!
Go ahead - make a joke about Camilla looking like a horse in front of him now....

Why The Boss Rocks
Thalaivar Super Star, ofcourse, is THE reason. Vivek gives a helping hand. Despite Shankar doing his best to be himself.
But it is time to sing praises of the unsung heroes. One clap to:
1. Make up artist, Banu and Hairstylist, Sandrine Verrier Seth, who brought back Rajni of the 80’s and Rajni in avtars that never existed before.
2. Costume Designer, Manish Malhotra, who seems to have finally found his calling in dressing up the Man himself after wasting away with those Bollywood types.
3. Sets, Thotta Tharani, for the glass pianos and what ever else... who'd 've thunk?!
4. Sujatha for lines like “Panninga thaan koottama varum. Singam single-a thaan varum” and for providing Vivek with his ammunition.
5. Indian Arts (graphics guys for white skin, HLL watch out!), for making possibly the most expensive comedy sequence in Tamil cinema, happen. And most importantly, for piecing together those hearts that shattered on seeing Thalaivar with blonde hair in the promo posters, by putting things in perspective.
6. And last but not the least... the perfectly proportioned Shreya, who nearly ooommphed into my exclusive list of "Women I'd swing for". I'm told we owe our thanks to VKK. Thanks Monet! Dil based.
