Why's there no Moon?

In a rather disturbing development, there aint been no moon in Chennai for 10 days now. And its new moon day only today!

How do we know there's no moon? Well, we haven't seen one. Inspite of our best efforts to locate our celestial companion.

What can we do? To ensure that the moon's OK, anybody in any part of the world, who sights the moon in the next day or two (after the new moon day), please report. Then we'll know whether the problem is confined to Chennai or not.

After that what we'll do, I dont know. Hopefully the moon will surface by then.

It's safe and sound down here in SA, as seen from my bedroom window.

Moonlit dinners... pfft! moonlit slumber is the scene.

Actually, any and all slumber is the scene.

Our foreign moons are all rocking. Desi moon sucks!

Also please to be remembering that complete solar eclipse is sometime around now. Or yesterday. One can never tell. These eclipses are highly nebulous.

Yes, the moon's back. But its setting off (like sun sets) by 9 pm. This I personally observed today.

Probably why we've not been seeing it...

Why's the moon behaving like Self?
