For some time now, Evil Wife has been aware of the fact that I identify myself as one of the crazy people who enjoy the music of Bela Fleck & The Flecktones. Just around the time I was working my ass off in NYC, Evil Wife discovered that Bela Fleck was playing in Ann Arbor with Chick Corea. Good news for her, of course, but not for me. And so she turned it into good news for me - she hung around after the concert and waited for Bela Fleck to make an appearance. At that most opportune moment, she presented to him my guitar (that she had been hanging on to throughout the performance) and got him to autograph it.
And then she mailed me a picture. Behold its infinite beauty:
