Thalaivar Super Star, ofcourse, is THE reason. Vivek gives a helping hand. Despite Shankar doing his best to be himself.
But it is time to sing praises of the unsung heroes. One clap to:
1. Make up artist, Banu and Hairstylist, Sandrine Verrier Seth, who brought back Rajni of the 80’s and Rajni in avtars that never existed before.
2. Costume Designer, Manish Malhotra, who seems to have finally found his calling in dressing up the Man himself after wasting away with those Bollywood types.
3. Sets, Thotta Tharani, for the glass pianos and what ever else... who'd 've thunk?!
4. Sujatha for lines like “Panninga thaan koottama varum. Singam single-a thaan varum” and for providing Vivek with his ammunition.
5. Indian Arts (graphics guys for white skin, HLL watch out!), for making possibly the most expensive comedy sequence in Tamil cinema, happen. And most importantly, for piecing together those hearts that shattered on seeing Thalaivar with blonde hair in the promo posters, by putting things in perspective.
6. And last but not the least... the perfectly proportioned Shreya, who nearly ooommphed into my exclusive list of "Women I'd swing for". I'm told we owe our thanks to VKK. Thanks Monet! Dil based.
