How can one play/convert MPEG-4 files?

www.archive.org/

Long live the Public Domain!

I've downloaded a couple of movies, in MPEG-4 format, from the Internet Archive. Does anyone know of a video player or plugin that will play/conver .mp4 files?

The trial version can only process 5 minutes max. Tough. Will find another way. Maybe download in other formats that work!

Caddy recommends:
Try the DivX player. Essentially mpeg4 and divx are same. www.divx.com

True, true, QT7 plays it fine. Thanks.
